Discover What We Believe
This page is Newlife College’s attempt to summarize the core principles of the Bible as non-negotiable tenets of faith, but it is the Bible itself that is the final authority for our Christian beliefs and doctrine, governing every ministry and every policy of Newlife College.
Newlife College’s Statement of Faith is located in the college’s Bylaws, but this is a general overview of the Statement of Faith, subject to the full Statement of Faith in the bylaws, which in turn is subject to the Word of God as spoken through the Holy Scriptures.
Newlife is Jesus-Centric.
Together, we read the words of Jesus and interpret all of scripture and culture through a Jesus-centered lens. Newlifers are always asking themselves and each other “What is Jesus saying to me?” and “What am I doing about it?”
- Scripture is God’s word to us.

- Jesus shows us what God is like.
- The Holy Spirit is our power.
- Jesus changes everything.
The Church
The Church isn’t a building, or an institution or a business, it’s you, with your friends, gathering together and following Jesus in your everyday lives.
The Church Jesus is building is a multi-ethnic, multicultural, and multi-generational family, and that family needs you – fully alive and at your full potential.
